The bipolar multifunctional forceps for single use are optional accessories and have been specially developed by Micromed for the removal of skin tags and fibroma pendulans. They can be connected to all electrosurgical devices with bipolar function. No surgical sutures are necessary when removing fibroma pendulans and stalked warts. Fibroma removal is bloodless and does not leave any scars.
No anaesthetic is required for the skin surface.
The fibroma pendulans or stalked wart is grasped at the base with tweezers and separated from the skin by coagulation using a foot switch to trigger an impulse.
