The single-use microdissection needle was developed in the state of Colorado. The tungsten tip of the microdissection needle remains sharp for a particularly long time. This means that the microdissection needle needs to be changed less frequently during an operation. The needle runs from a diameter of 0.7 mm to 5 μm.
The tip of the microdissection needle with a diameter < 5 μm generates a high current density and ensures exceptional hemostasis and precise dissection at low power settings. In combination with the MICROMED RF 130 radiofrequency device, it is possible to cut the skin with minimal scarring.
