Third-tube plate for secure bone plate osteosynthesis – precise, tried and tested, and designed for everyday clinical use.
The Micromed third-tube plate is available as a standard plate and – depending on the version – as an angle-stable bone plate for surgical fracture management in the small-fragment range. A range of lengths, hole configurations and material options supports flexible implant selection in the operating theatre. For doctors, surgical staff and hospital procurement departments, Micromed combines reliable implant quality, practical handling and ‘Made in Germany’ standards with a clearly structured range for osteosynthesis.
A third tube plate, also known as a “third tube” or “drift plate”, is an implantable bone plate that is used for the surgical fixation of bone fractures, particularly in smaller bones such as the forearm or foot. The third-tube plate is screwed into the bone to stably connect the bone fragments and support healing.
The one-third tube plate is shaped in such a way that it adapts to the bone and enables good anatomical reconstruction.
Micromed has the following one-third tube plates in its range:
One-third tube plate with 2 holes, One-third tube plate with 3 holes, One-third tube plate with 4 holes, One-third tube plate with 5 holes, One-third tube plate with 6 holes, One-third tube plate with 8 holes, One-third tube plate with 9 holes, One-third tube plate with 10 holes, One-third tube plate with 11 holes, One-third tube plate with 12 holes,
