Stainless steel cancellous screws are surgically inserted into the soft bone in the cancellous bone to fix fragments with a plate. Cancellous screws are characterised by a wider and higher thread, which can be easily screwed into the cancellous bone. Cancellous screws are used in surgery to treat bone fractures and stabilise bone elements, thereby promoting bone healing. The cancellous screws and plates are used to fix and connect bone fragments. The stainless steel cancellous screws are biocompatible and offer good corrosion resistance.
