A tibial nail for the undrilled technique, also known as an ‘elastic intramedullary nail’ (EIN),is an implant that is used to stabilise tibial shaft fractures. In the undrilled technique, the medullary cavity of the bone is not drilled open, but the nail is inserted into the medullary cavity with a minimal incision and using guide wires and drill sleeves.
